What documents do I need to bring to hire a van?
To hire a vehicle from us, you will need to provide:
A full, valid UK driving licence (held for a minimum of 12 months).
A DVLA check code (so we can check for points/endorsements).
Two forms of proof of address dated within the last 3 months (e.g., utility bill, bank statement).
How old do I need to be to hire a van?
Do I need a special licence to drive your vans?
Can I hire a van for just one day?
Do your vans come with fuel?
We operate a "like-for-like" fuel policy. The van will be provided with a certain level of fuel (usually full or half-full), and we ask that you return it with the same amount.
Are your vans ULEZ compliant?
Most of our modern fleet meets Euro 6 emissions standards, making them ULEZ compliant. However, if you are planning to drive into the London Ultra Low Emission Zone, please double-check with us at the time of booking so we can allocate the correct vehicle for your trip.
Can I take the van abroad?
Our standard insurance covers usage within the UK mainland only. If you wish to take a vehicle to Europe or Ireland, please contact us in advance as additional insurance and Green Card documentation will be required.
What happens if the van breaks down?
In the unlikely event of a breakdown, all our vehicles are covered by 24-hour roadside assistance. You will be provided with the emergency contact number upon collection.
How much is the deposit?
We require a fully refundable security deposit to be paid upon collection. This is refunded to you when the vehicle is returned in the same condition it was hired, with the correct fuel level.
What if I’m running late to return the van?
We understand traffic can be bad, especially on the A12 or M25! If you think you will be late, please call us immediately on 07423 456 557. Late returns may incur an additional charge if they affect the next booking.
